Our senior veterinarian Dr Andrew Newington has sat additional exams in small animal surgery to be admitted as a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientist. With our well equipped surgical theatre and dedicated nursing staff, St Lukes Veterinary Centre can perform most orthopedic surgeries your pet may require. This includes most fracture repairs involving the use of bone plates and screws, pins or external fixators. Joint surgery such as patella luxation and cranial cruciate injury are common injuries we see and repair here.
If you have any concerns regarding lameness in your pet. Come in for a consultation where we can assess the problem. If neccessary X-Rays can be taken to aid or confirm a diagnosis and then the appropriate treatment options can be discussed with you.
